The boys and I cooked muffins for breakfast today. Though the camera phone pic does not do them justice, they turned out to be quite good! Having 4 assistants in the kitchen is a lot of fun but it does slow down the process tremendously. Luckily, all the mixing bowls stayed on the counter and we had no accidents while we were doing the mixing. The accidents came once we made it to the table. Milk was spilled at the table and I actually got to say, “Hey, we don’t whine over spilled milk!” (unfortunately, I got to say it three times) I enjoyed saying it but the boys did not find it as humorous as I did. I tell them not to whine about everything……..
If you are interested, we did blueberry muffins and added nutmeg, we did raspberry muffins and added cinnamon and we did corn muffins and added corn and brown sugar.
