I am loving the soap opera going on in Auburn right now. True or not, I love watching them squirm. Not hard to believe he took 200k to go to AU instead of 180k to go to MSST.

Bama week and Red Stick is pretty dead. A little Saban talk but not much pizzaz. More talk about Miles heading to Colorado or Michigan than the game on Saturday. Only Miles could have a 7-1 team, ranked in the BCS top 10, top ranked defense playing on national TV and next to no one is hyped up. Right now this game does not have the feel of a big LSU/Bama, #6 v #10 game. Wake up Tiger fans!

Training Wheels For Sale

Well used training wheels for sale. Never ridden in the street. No longer needed. Will accept best offer or will trade for band aids.

Big milestone for my guys - no training wheels!

Side note: You would not believe how difficult it is to get three 4 1/2 year olds in the same shot when they have just taken off their training wheels. Slowing down to let the last one catch up is not easy and getting everyone started at the same time is a challenge.

Nice! My hope is that the Tigers play like Spartacus: Blood and Sand on Starz and not like Meet the Spartans. If we play up to our talent level it will be a nice season. If we play like we did last year or if Miles has another meltdown it is going to be a L O N G, L O N G season. I always start the season out positive and expect the best. The last two seasons have exposed our weaknesses and we need to step it up this season. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

The boys and I cooked muffins for breakfast today. Though the camera phone pic does not do them justice, they turned out to be quite good! Having 4 assistants in the kitchen is a lot of fun but it does slow down the process tremendously. Luckily, all the mixing bowls stayed on the counter and we had no accidents while we were doing the mixing. The accidents came once we made it to the table. Milk was spilled at the table and I actually got to say, “Hey, we don’t whine over spilled milk!” (unfortunately, I got to say it three times) I enjoyed saying it but the boys did not find it as humorous as I did. I tell them not to whine about everything…….. If you are interested, we did blueberry muffins and added nutmeg, we did raspberry muffins and added cinnamon and we did corn muffins and added corn and brown sugar.

Yep, its official! AARP office confirms Favre has submitted his paperwork for membership. Says he is excited about using his discount for admission to Tickfaw State Park to do some canoeing. Yes, Brett is big into canoeing.

Crawfish boils in fall? LSU AgCenter evaluates ‘shrimp crawfish’ species

The article says it might be 2-3 years before they could be produced commercially. This is some pretty exciting news! They need to come up with a better name - maybe Tigerfish or CrawTigers? Now if the Ag Center could only figure out a way to produce them with purple and gold stripes.

Too bad that by the time they are ready to go commercial the South LA economy will be in shambles and no one will be able to afford them.

Unless he can lead LSU to a national championship (without two losses) with his own players he is never going to live down the debacle at Ole Mrs last year. Saban rolling at Bama makes things even tougher for Miles in Red Stick.

It is well documented that I am a huge Tiger fan! I have been a diehard fan during the good, bad and then great times. As much as I love LSU (and especially LSU Football) I can not stand to listen to Miles talk! My ears bleed and my stomach turns when he opens his mouth. LSU needs to hire a spokesperson for Les and let Les be a behind the scenes head coach. (Don’t get me started on his coaching abilities or his lack there of - he is too expensive to fire) This is just plain awful.
